Couples and relationship therapy

The two of you.

An hour, or an hour and a half, with a practitioner, for two people trying to work something out together. You do not have to agree about what the problem is before you come.

Who comes

Most often it is partners. But the room is for any two people whose relationship carries something heavy, and who would rather look at it with someone else there than keep circling it alone.

Partners, married or not, together for a month or for thirty years.
Two people deciding whether to stay together, or how to separate well.
Co-parents who are no longer a couple but are still raising children.
A parent and an adult child.
Siblings, or two family members carrying the same loss differently.
Two people who came through displacement together and have not spoken about it since.

If you are not sure the two of you count, you count.

What a session is

Neither of you is the patient

Nobody is there to decide which of you is right. What is looked at is what happens between you.

You will both get to speak

Making sure the quieter person is heard is a skill, not a favour to either side.

Nothing is decided for you

People come to stay together, to separate, or to find out which. None of those is the outcome we steer towards.

One of you books

Whoever books puts their own name. The link comes to them, and they pass it on. Only one booking is needed.

Before you book

This is not mediation, and there is nothing to sign at the end. It is not a legal or custody assessment. It is not a place where one person is brought to be corrected.

If you are afraid of the person you would come with

Please do not book a session together. Speaking honestly is not safe when one person can be punished for it afterwards, and a session can make things worse rather than better. Book on your own instead, in your own name, and say what is happening. You will be believed, and you will not be pushed to bring anyone with you.

What it costs

You decide what you pay. It is one contribution for the session, not one each, and it is the same however long you sit together. Nobody checks and nobody asks you to prove anything.

Standard

From €120

For most households. Choose any amount from here.

Solidarity

From €150

If you can, this keeps sessions open to people who cannot.

You say which when you pick your time. You pay Healing on the Move after the session, not your practitioner, and the amount is never discussed in the room.

If money is the reason the two of you would not come, write to us first. That is a conversation we would rather have than lose you to it.

When you are ready

One of you books, for the two of you.

Choose your practitioner above and book from their name. If you have been before and want the same person, use their button again and pick a follow up.

If either of you is in immediate danger, or thinking of ending your life, this page is not the right help. Call the emergency number where you are: 112 in Belgium and across the European Union. In Belgium, Zelfmoordlijn is also on 1813.
